At Chabad of Monroeville, we don’t just adapt and pivot; we seek the opportunity and embrace our challenge. We don’t just tread water; we learn do dive. We don’t just survive, we thrive.
This important lesson has been the driving force behind our activities over the past two years. To transform the disruption of life that we all experienced and frame it as opportunities.
It was never a question of “if”, the question was only “how”.
For our community, Chabad goes Beyond to find new methods and dimensions of connection; to reach people and places that we did not before through creative platforms and unique programming.
Shabbat: No one disconnected or alone. Go Beyond! Shabbat packages & unique services in different locations.
Chanukah, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot: Go Beyond! Chanukah Drive-in, outdoor shows, Holiday packages, Indoor/outdoor Purim celebrations, Seder to-go kits, Seder dinners, 10 commandments and holiday joy.
Lag B’omer: Go Beyond! Connecting through creative Indoor/Outdoor community BBQ and entertainment!
High Holidays: Go Beyond! Put up a beautiful tent and host outdoor dinners, services, and celebrations throughout the season.
Children’s activities: Go Beyond! Interactive, fun Jewish pride and holiday activity kits and/or in-person fun.
Not to mention going Beyond with the beautiful community Simcha of welcoming a new Torah!
This is not the time to downsize or even “preserve”, it is time to go Beyond; time to grow!
