About Chabad and the Campaign
Hundreds of individuals of all backgrounds and all ages are impacted each year through the many programs Chabad of Monroeville offers the community.
Chabad means many things to many people. From the light in a child’s eyes when he reads his first Hebrew word to Chicken soup on Friday night. From a Shul that welcomes all, regardless of background or affiliation to senior programming for the golden ager's. From the array of adult education classes to a helping hand in times of need. From the creative holiday programming to social events that bring people together. Chabad is a home away from home for every Jew in the Monroeville area. Chabad offers an array of programs and activities and reaches out to all with warmth and acceptance.
This year more than ever after the tragic events in Squirrel Hill we need to bring light to our corner of the world. In addition to our regular initiatives we will be investing a portion of our year end fundraiser in upgraded security and target hardening.
Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. With your partnership we can continue our effort to be a beacon of Jewish light in the Monroeville area. Without you, and people like you, we simply cannot achieve this goal.
