We will have morning services at 9:00am prior to the event.
We are excited to embark on this great journey of watching a Torah scroll be created from the very first letters of Breishit.
How it works: Our appointed scribe in Israel has sent us a lined Torah parchment with an outline of the very first verses of the Torah. A tremendous opportunity will be available to everyone, men, women and children who want to assist the Sofer in writing their very own letter of the brand new Torah scroll.
When we finish filling in the opening verses, we will send this very scroll back to the Sofer in Israel who will then continue the writing of the entire Torah scroll until it's completion, at which point it will be send back to our community for a Torah completion ceremony and celebration.
